Vitamin D to avoid diabetes

Scientists in Finland have found that vitamin D may offer protection against type 2 diabetes.
Their research showed that men with the highest blood levels of the vitamin were 72 per cent less likely to develop type 2 diabetes.There was also a reduced effect among women. The scientists monitored several thousand people aged 40 to 74 for 22years.
