Brisk walk will jog your memory

September 4th 2008

A study from the University of Melbourne has found that taking a brisk 50-minute walk 3 times a week can help those with memory problems.

The study authors wrote: “This is the first trial to demonstrate that exercise improves cognitive function in older adults with mild impairment. The benefits of physical activity were apparent after six months and persisted for at least another 12 months after it had been discontinued.”
