A new study from the Dermopathic Institute of the Immaculate in Rome suggests that eating a Mediterranean diet can halve the risk of melanoma.
Only around 3 in every 100,000 people in Mediterranean countries develop malignant melanoma, compared with up to 22 per 100,000 in Scandinavia and 50 per 100,000 in Australia.
