Fruit and veg keep cancer at bay

Dr Thomas Stuttaford explains that fruit and vegetables rich in carotenoids offer some protection against inflammation, premature skin ageing, photo-sensitivity disorders and some skin cancers.
In discussing how to prevent cancer at the First International Congress on Nutrition and Cancer in Turkey last week Professor Walter Willett of Harvard University advised everyone to take a great deal more exercise, lose weight and increase their intake of fruit and vegetables.
